My new Tablet

Nook Tablet Bought it at Target. I have rooted and added go launcher and other apps. Use for kindle books, audible books, podcasts, even watched netflix movie. read both gmail and exchange mail, games etc. 1 Gig dual core 1 gig ram, sdcard 1024x600 screen. but no camera no GPS and Wifi only. But for 250 good deal. I wanted the higher Ram and SD card so I got this instead of Kindle Fire. Worth the extra 50 bucks XDA has devs working on CM7 and CM9 Roms so by Summer I expect to have an even nicer setup.

Reading now on Kindle

Another Captain Daniel Leary—Officer Adele Mundy Adventure.

The point that particularly interested me was that the Roman Senate reacted by sending an embassy to Carthage, demanding that the Carthaginians withdraw their citizen under terms of the peace treaty. This makes perfect legal sense, though appears absurd in any practical fashion. Livy’s account got me thinking about the problems that the envoys would have had. The Romans were going to Carthage with demands which weren’t going to be greeted by their listeners with any enthusiasm. They had it easier, however, than the Carthaginians who were presumably tasked to proceed to the chaos in Northern Italy and corral Hamilcar. Whatever the Carthaginian people thought of the situation, they were in no position in 200 bc to blow off a Roman ultimatum. There’s no record of the Carthaginian response, but I believe they made at least some attempt to comply. Otherwise there would be more in the record. I decided that I could find a story in that. This is the story I found. Dave Drake david-drake.com

Wow it's been a month?

Well posting this from my android tablet. It's a Flytouch 2. Ok but I think I'd like the Nook Tablet better.

Perfer that to Kindle Fire due to Screen Size and should be easiser to hack.

Reading Today on Kindle

Perfectly Invisible

What if the 93 attack brought down the towers? According to Michael A. Stackpole a lot deeper in to a police state. a good murder mystery/police procedural in a world creepily not quite our own.
